Be sure to check out the photos below to see what I’ve been up to lately.
This week I’m in Cleveland for a trade-show attempting to spread the word about our robotic arm and other products from my main job. I’m definitely not used to the weather, that’s for sure – it’s quite muggy here and it’s been cloudy almost the whole time so far which kind of bums me out and just tonight it rained heavily after dinner. Sometimes I feel like California is a different country but either way, I think I’m ready to head back but I must wait until Friday for that.
A lot has happened since the last time I caught up with you. My laptop decided to screw up once again but this time it was a software issue and after 2 to 3 days of attempting to get Windows to start up with the help of my brother-in-law who works as an IT guy, I had to wipe my system clean and reinstall Windows unfortunately. But in a way, it’s nice to have a clean computer again. I bought two more plants – a pepper plant [pepperoncini] and a lavender plant. I find it pretty fun to experiment with growing new plants that I’ve never grown before and learn as much as I can. Don’t be surprised if I double my small container garden by the end of the month.
Unfortunatley, after my laptop died for a few days and I worked to get everything back up and running, I had to fly out to Cleveland and I haven’t had time to paint, so for now I can only show the only small painting I did of one of my plants. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
I’m looking forward to getting back and hopefully making some videos too eventually. Next week I’ll be in southern California for most of the week, so maybe I can get some things done before then. Time will tell. Hope you’ve been doing well. Keep on painting and don’t give up 🙂
