PAINTING ABOVE by Edouard-Leon Cortes
Within the last few days, I’ve been itching to get back to painting finally and wanting to get outside. I actually was going to do some painting yesterday but I went on a long bike ride in the middle of the day and the heat drained me of all energy. I’ve been clearing up my work load so that I can direct my focus on my painting and my own work.
Be sure to check out the photos below to see what I’ve been up to lately.
This week I’m in Cleveland for a trade-show attempting to spread the word about our robotic arm and other products from my main job. I’m definitely not used to the weather, that’s for sure – it’s quite muggy here and it’s been cloudy almost the whole time so far which kind of bums me out and just tonight it rained heavily after dinner. Sometimes I feel like California is a different country but either way, I think I’m ready to head back but I must wait until Friday for that.

Lately, I’ve been working to find balance once again and now that it feels like summer is here – I’m finding it a lot easier to do so. I’m enjoying a nice balance of work and play and doing things I enjoy – riding my bike, exercising, eating raw fruits and vegetables. In the past week, I’ve painted a few things and also I’ve been planting some things [see some photos below].
