Morning Walk in Kundasang (Study)

This was my first attempt at painting the scene of my morning walk in Kundasang through the neighborhood. I was happy with this attempt but at the time, I kept it only a study and decided to try to paint it again. I painted this scene many times, smaller in sketchbooks, and this size again as well. The more I kept painting this kept, the more ideas I kept coming up with and developing the painting further. Eventually in the final version of this painting, I added chickens along the road and other elements which I felt really brought it together.
