Grouse

Grouse is a pen & ink drawing I drew in my studio using a reference photo I took while on a trip to Alaska in 2018. This drawing is the first drawing I did which helped to solidify my style of animal drawings. This helped to start my journey of pen & ink on toned paper.

This is a male spruce grouse which I saw while in Denali National Park in Alaska. Such a really cool bird, and I got to see him doing some interesting dance to entice the females. Glad I could capture his spirit in this pen & ink drawing.

The artwork is drawn on Strathmore Toned Tan Paper and using Pigma Micron Pens - very high-quality artist materials. The drawing comes unmounted.

It will be shipped within 1-3 days of purchase and will arrive in a padded envelope strengthened with a hardboard panel to avoid any bending in transit.
