Red-Whiskered Bulbul

Red-Whiskered Bulbul is a pen & ink drawing with watercolor I drew in my studio while Livestreaming on my YouTube Channel - SchaeferArt. I found a reference photo online for the this bird.

I actually didn’t even know the name of this bird, but I loved the little splash of red on its head. One of my livestream viewers living in India informed me that it was a Red-Whiskered Bulbul. The green watercolor behind the bird was a way for me to create movement and balance within the drawing.

The artwork is drawn on Strathmore Toned Tan Paper, using Pigma Micron Pens, and M. Graham watercolor paints - very high-quality artist materials. The drawing comes unmounted.

It will be shipped within 1-3 days of purchase and will arrive in a padded envelope strengthened with a hardboard panel to avoid any bending in transit.
